Your mission & challenges
At department of Artificial Intelligence, we are looking for an experienced robot object manipulation engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C++, object-oriented programming, robotics, and ROS. They will also have experience with grasp generation, robot kinematics and classic and deep-learning based grasp generations.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing and implementing algorithms for robot object manipulation
- Creating and testing grasps for a variety of objects in simulation and using real robot
- Working with other engineers to develop and integrate robot hardware and software using ROS

- Master's or PhD degree in robotics, computer science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in robot object manipulation
- Implement low-latency and high-performance software prototype modules in C++ and Python
- Sound experience with grasp generation
- Experience with robot hardware and software using ROS
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- You have a perfect command of the English language and, best of all, speak German well
