Your mission & challenges 

As a Software Product Manager, you take end‑to‑end responsibility for our software products—from strategic direction and precise product specifications to implementation within cross‑functional, agile development teams.
You serve as the central interface between Business, Engineering, QA, Operations, and other stakeholders. With your experience in robotics or mechatronic environments, you understand the unique requirements of software that interacts with physical systems, automation, and real-time processes.
In addition to product ownership, you actively support our teams in optimizing processes, agile workflows, and documentation standards.

Product Strategy & Specification
  • Define and evolve the product vision and roadmap for software and robotics features
  • Translate technical and functional requirements into clear, detailed product specifications and PRDs
  • Create epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria in close collaboration with Engineering and Product stakeholders
  • Evaluate impact, risks, system dependencies, and technical constraints—particularly in hardware-software contexts
  • Drive user-centered and robust product decisions
Agile Product Delivery & Jira Management
  • End‑to‑end responsibility for backlog quality, prioritization, and sprint planning processes
  • Ensure consistent workflows, clear priorities, and realistic sprint goals
  • Facilitate or actively support plannings, dailies, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Monitor progress, identify risks early, and derive corrective actions
Release & Process Management
  • Plan, coordinate, and document software releases for robotics environments (e.g., firmware, control software, tools)
  • Create release notes and ensure required compliance steps
  • Track milestones, dependencies, and technical approvals
  • Identify optimization potential in development and release processes
Documentation & Knowledge Management
  • Structure and maintain central product, process, and architecture information (Confluence)
  • Prepare complex technical content in clear, accessible documentation
  • Ensure up-to-date onboarding, process, and release guides
  • Foster a transparent knowledge culture
Team Coordination & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as an active interface between Engineering, QA, Robotics teams, Product Management, Marketing, and Management
  • Prepare decision-making materials and moderate alignment sessions
  • Create reports, status overviews, and management summaries
  • Track open items and ensure clear ownership

 

What we can look forward to
  • Experience as a Software Product Manager, Product Owner, or Technical PM—ideally in robotics, automation, or mechatronic environments
  • Deep understanding of agile software development and product life cycles
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear specifications
  • Confident use of tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Technical understanding of software architectures, sensors, robotics workflows, or embedded software (coding skills not required)
  • Structured, proactive, and detail‑oriented working style
  • Strong communication skills in English (German is a plus)
  • Enjoyment of cross‑team collaboration in a dynamic technology environment
  • Ability to identify process inefficiencies and drive sustainable improvements
