As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be an important part of our IT team, ensuring that our network runs smoothly and securely – directly contributing to the success of the company.
- You plan, lead, and implement initiatives that significantly improve the performance, reach, and security of our network infrastructure.
- You define requirements for the network infrastructure (e.g., for new locations) and oversee the end-to-end implementation.
- When critical network incidents occur, you coordinate their resolution in a calm, structured, and goal-oriented manner.
- You provide guidance on secure network architectures in line with best practices and our security guidelines.
- You are responsible for the secure configuration and operation of network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and WLAN access points.
- You keep our network documentation lean and up to date – from topology diagrams to standards and work instructions.
- You work closely with cross-functional teams and ensure that network requirements are considered at an early stage.
- You have at least three years of hands-on experience as a Network Administrator, Network Engineer, or in a comparable role.
- You possess solid knowledge of network and IT system architecture.
- You bring experience with automation and scripting, for example in Python, PowerShell, or Ansible.
- You have excellent problem-solving skills and approach challenges in an analytical, methodical, and pragmatic way.
- You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- You are able to communicate complex technical matters in a simple and understandable manner.
- You are a true team player, you communicate clearly, enjoy sharing knowledge, and collaborate at eye level with other departments.
